Art Gallery Trip

We went to the Art Gallery in Auckland.

Wow it was such a fun trip! We learnt all about symbols and how symbols can show up in all parts of our life.

We learnt how to draw symbols that represent ourselves, our favourite things and our families.

Ribbon Dancing

The Year 1 children were lucky enough to have a special lesson on Ribbon Dancing from Mrs Zane as part of our learning about China .

It was hard work moving to the music and moving the ribbons at the same time. We really enjoyed giving it ago.
